This firm -- founded by the two sons of Edward
Newlander, a retired Official Reporter in United States District
Court, and Elissa Newlander, his loving wife of 65 years -- remains
dedicated to the principles for which he and they stand and stood.
Among them are life, liberty, and the pursuit of justice.
Toward that end, resources of the firm have
been committed to furthering the notion that what we as reporters
do is a sacred act upon which The Public, the bench, and members
of the Bar are entitled to rely. When words cease to have meaning,
civil discourse becomes impossible. It is not for us to ascribe
meaning; rather, ours is faithfully to record so that others
may understand.
